La encantadora de Florencia / The Enchantress of Florence (Spanish Edition)

    THE ENCHANTRESS OF FLORENCE!

-Hello my beloved cutiepie readers of my blogposts!
Its been the first week since i started my 3rd year of university and as we all may know the week went with those up-s and down-s. I've been 'vegetating' for about 5months in my hometown so i found this week pretty boring and tiring :p
I started this lovely book like 2 weeks ago and finished it within a week so ì've kinda started another Salman's masterpiece which i will post into the next blog:)

-A tall yellow-haired european traveller whom he be calling himself "Mogor dell' Amore" decides to travel by himself until he arrives at the court of the real GRAND MUGHAL,the emperor Akbar, with a tale to tell that begins to obsess the whole imperial capital. The stranger claims to be the child of a lost Mughal princess, the youngest sister of Akbar's grandfather Babar: KARAKEZ(Lady black eyes),a great beauty believed to possess powers of enchatement and sorcery, who is taken captive first by an Uzbek warlord, then by the Shah of Persia and finally become the lover of Argalia,a soldier of fortune from Florentina and as well the commander of the armies of Ottoman Sultan. In the end Argalia returns home with his Mughal mistress and the city is really seduced by her beauty also a lot of trouble ensured.

-The enchantress of the Florence, is a story of a woman trying to attempt to command her own destiny in a man's world. This story brings in a paralel the reality of 2 different worlds which barely know each other :
1) The hedonistic Mughal capital in which the big emperor finds himself resting all day and questioning hisself about beliefs, desires and his son's treachery.
2)The sensual Florentine world of powerful courtesans, humanist philosophy and inhuman torture where Argalia was born.
In this story also takes part Argalia's friend "Il Machia"-Nicolo Machiaveli which is learning the hard way of the true brutality of power.
-In the end the story teller who pretends to be the emperor's uncle tells that 'Karakez had a daughter, and the died, and the daughter slept with her own father,to produce this stranger and he makes him leave the kingdom for lying and being the product of incest.BUT.. in the end 'Karakez' shows up,brought into being by the telling of the story and tells the emperor what really happened.

THE REASONS WHY I LOVED THIS BOOK:

1-Firstly i can see something old-fashioned about the title. It,slightly brings to my mind those historical romances that were such a rage in Victorian times.

2-The fact that Salman did a lot of history research to write this novel is amazing, because in the end i might say he did a great story telling. His way of describing the details of the 16 century about everything such as the kingdom, the emperor, the women, the cities is sick.

3-There are 2 things that struck me while reading the book such as: a) humanism,a journey that we haven't come to the end of it yet while,,,
b) Salman is one of a hell of a storyteller to have on that yourney.

4-The book's about the power of believing in the story you believe in.

-Take the good chance to read this masterpiece of Salman and you'll thank me later.

Its not gonna take a lot of time. Once u have it you will have the big curiosity to read and read and find out the mystery.I guarantee its gonna mess up and blow your mind at the same time.
Salman is a hell master of a storyteller.  LOVED IT
