MURAKAMI

                BLIND WILLOW,SLEEPING WOMAN

~Hola! Hoping everyone is having their best i`m back with another blogpost. I wanna be part of your day for today so why not..,
Last month i had my birthday so this book im writing about is a birthday gift from my bestie.
Im talking about Haruki again and again.

~A totally, different thing from what i have actually read from Haruki.
24 fiction stories expressing amazingly Murakami`s way of thinking.

~Here are animated crows,a criminal monkey,an ice man,as well as the dreams that shape us and the things we wish for.Whether during a chance reunion in Italy,a romantic exile in Greece,a holiday in Hawaii or in the grip of everyday life,Murakami`s characters confront loss or sexuality,or the glow of a firefly,or the impossible distance between those who ought to be closest of all.
                               I WAS 18 HERE.mind me xx

~The thing that gets my curiosity about these fiction stories of him is his talent of writting  a few first lines that just grab you and make you rush on with the story, although some of the stories lack resolution. Its like dreaming of some seemingly related people or things and the situations interact and you wake up thinking WTF!? Although it doesnt make sense and you still think that was a cool dream and you cant do nothing about it but think of it.Thats the way i would define these stories.

To put in the simplest possible terms, I find writing novels a challenge, writing short stories a joy. If writing novels is like planting a forest, then writing short stories is more like planting a garden. The two processes complement each other, creating a complete landscape that I treasure. The green foliage of the trees casts a pleasant shade over the earth, and the wind rustles the leaves, which are sometimes dyed a brilliant gold. Meanwhile, in the garden, buds appear on flowers, and colorful petals attract bees and butterflies, reminding us of the subtle transition from one season to the next.
~This metamorphic description of his novels was the thing that caught my attention and curiosity to read this book which  i am totally charmed of.

                               SEE YOU SOON!
